Our Company
PanelSix is a young company active in ISP automation.
Run by a number of people with a strong background in ISP systems and marketing, we are currently developing a control panel product suite for ISPs. PanelSix is entering this market because a well-designed system with an open architecture will fulfill an enormous demand that is currently not met.
Our Control Panel
Our first product will be an open source control panel.
We are currently βeta testing and fine tuning OpenPanel, an open source control panel application and are progressing fast to version 1.0. We believe open source will give ISPs the flexibility they need. A control panel should be able to work together with any external program, and it should be clear how it interacts with the underlying operating systems. This will result in a better and more secure product that is easy to integrate in any ISP's system.

After this initial release PanelSix will start to offer additional Enterprise modules. These enable the system to seamlessly handle billing, virtualization, incident reports and network management. This larger system will be able to control several machines running OpenPanel, providing complete control over a network. Users will also be able to use more traditional layouts where servers are dedicated to a specific task like DNS, webserving and email.

The complete system will include the following functionalities:
  • A complete open source control panel that works on all major Linux distributions and Windows.
  • Multiple authorisation levels that can be set on an account by account basis in order to minimise support enquiries.
  • The possibility to create and manage virtual servers using the XEN hypervisor.
  • Seamless management information and resource allocation between multiple servers, including the possibility to run servers in a cluster environment
  • Good working and flexible billing and ticketing modules, and a flawless link with existing packages
  • An attractive and intuitive graphical user interface combined with a command line interface.
Our product will be very interesting for the smaller ISPs that want an affordable solution enabling them to be in business after one install.

Another group of clients that has been under-served in the past are medium sized ISPs. With our system a group of servers will become one integrated resource. It will be possible to run a cluster with a separate mail server, DNS server, file server etc.
